Battery Electric
Power for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) comes solely from an electric battery, with no gas engine and zero emissions. Most BEVs are capable of fast charging and L2 charging.
Plug-in Hybrid
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), are able to run on full electric power, but also have a gas engine that takes over when the battery runs out. PHEVs can be charged by plugging in to L2 Chargers.
Traditional Hybrid

A big question for those researching electric vehicles is, "how do I keep it charged?" As long as you get in a good charging routine, it's not hard! Read on below as we go over charging at home, and charging while on the road!Easy At-Home Charger Installation
Whether you end up with a Dodge Hornet R/T, a Jeep 4xe, Chrysler Plugin Hybrid, there will be two convenient at-home charging solutions to choose from. a Level I (120V) charging system comes standard with the purchase. The benefit of a Level I charger is it requires no electrical installation and plugs into a typical household outlet. The other at-home option is an available Level II Mopar EV Charger (240V). It is highly recommended to have a Level II charger installed, as it can fully charge the battery in approximately 2 hours versus the 12 hours it take a Level I charger. Simply plug in at night, and you will have a fully charged vehicle each morning.
Installing an At-Home Charger
