Which Trim Level of the 2019 Ram 1500 is the Right One for Me?
Ram fully redesigned the full-size 1500 pickup for the 2019 model year and boy is it better than ever! This truck boasts a reduced weight yet increased payload and towing capacities, so you can take on any job. Plus, the smooth suspension and increased passenger space make this truck one of the most comfortable on the market today! Now that you know this is the truck for you, you need to choose a trim level. There are a total of six trim levels offered in the 2019 model year, each of which comes packed with an array of features that are sure to impress. You thought you loved what the Ram 1500 had to offer before, just wait until you learn what it has to offer for the 2019 model year!
Tradesman: Starting at the bottom of the lineup, you will find the Tradesman trim level. However, you would never know that it is the base trim level because it comes so well equipped. Just some of these standard features include vinyl upholstery and flooring, 18-inch steel wheels, a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5” touchscreen interface, a Class III hitch receiver, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a 6-speaker sound system, trailer sway control, cruise control, rear-seat USB charging ports, a backup camera, keyless entry and ignition, air conditioning, automatic headlights, and heated side mirrors.
Big Horn: Up next in the lineup is the Big Horn model. This model comes with features like floor carpet, 18” alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, tinted windows, fog lights, and a rear bench seat with 60/40 split folding. Available features for this trim level include larger fuel tank options, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, 20” wheels, power-adjustable pedals, an 8.4” touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights and taillights, power-adjustable pedals, and side steps.
Rebel: Do you enjoy taking the path less traveled? If so, the Rebel is the trim level for you! This model comes with features like satellite road, a power-adjustable driver seat, a 3.92 axle ratio, front tow hooks, specialized off-road tires, skid plates, fortified suspension and shocks, front bucket seats, a 115V power outlet, a bigger driver information display, LED fog and head lights, and hill descent control, an electronic-locking rear axle, and a Class IV hitch receiver.
Laramie: With the Laramie trim level, we enter the more luxurious trim levels. Standard features for this trim level include leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front seats with 40/20/40 split folding, front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, driver-seat memory functions, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, and power-adjustable pedals with memory functions. Further standard features include emergency notifications, a 155V rear seat outlet, two additional rear seat USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.4” touchscreen, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a 9-speaker sound system.
Longhorn: Outfitted with even more luxury features is the Longhorn trim level. These features include automatic wipers, a spray-in bed liner, a CD player, a power tailgate release, chrome side steps, 20” wheels, heated, ventilated, and reclining rear seats, a navigation system, a leather-wrapped wood steering wheel, front bucket seats with enhanced leather upholstery, automatic high beams, a power tailgate release, and automatic wipers.
Limited: The final trim level in the lineup is the Limited. This trim comes outfitted with features like an adjustable air suspension, blind-spot monitoring, chrome exterior trim, premium-leather bucket seats power-retractable side steps, and rear cross-traffic alert. Available features include off-roading components, chrome and blacked-out grilles, bed utilities like the RamBox storage system, additional safety features, larger wheels, and a 12” touchscreen interface.
