Sport

The Jeep Gladiator lineup starts off with the Sport, which sets you up quite well in terms of features and equipment. The Sport is athletic and highly capable, with 4-wheel drive, and Dana 44 heavy-duty axles. It’s powered by the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which can pair with either a six-speed manual transmission, or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Sport comes with a removable roof with a soft-top, removable doors, and a fold-flat windshield, as well as the classic crank windows and manual door locks that are also found on the Jeep Wrangler. Other features include steel skid plates, and front tow hooks for added off-road acumen.

Overland

Up next after the Sport is the Overland trim. This model builds off of the ruggedness of the sport by adding some extra comfort and convenience features to elevate your experience, and the overall enjoyment of all passengers. The Overland comes equipped with the standard Uconnect 4 system with a 7-inch touchscreen, and smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has heated side mirrors, larger 18-inch wheels, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Other features included on the Overland are power windows and door locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, side steps, and a remote proximity keyless entry system.

Rubicon

If you’re looking to hit the off-road trails, the Rubicon is the model for you! This is one of two off-road trims that the Gladiator has to offer, and it comes with lots of extra features that are built for rocky terrain! These include 33-inch all-terrain tires, FOX shock absorbers, and steel off-road rock rails in addition to the standard skid plates. The Rubicon also features a Rock-Trac part-time low transfer case, which allows you to crawl over rocks with its 84:1 crawl ratio. You can also increase front-wheel articulation with the class-exclusive disconnecting front sway bar. Other features include locking front and rear differentials, and a Rubicon hood decal.

Mojave

The second of the two off-road trims is the Mojave. While the Rubicon is built for rocky terrain, the Mojave is best suited for the sand. It comes with features like FOX internal bypass shocks, as well as a hydraulic jounce front bumper. These two elements work to absorb the vibrations caused by driving over the uneven surface of the sand, while also reducing road noise inside the cabin. It also features a 1-inch front lift so that you can easily sail over the peaks of sandy dunes. There’s also high-clearance fender flares, and a reinforced frame. Other features of the Mojave include orange accents on the interior, a Mojave emblem embroidered on the front seats, and a Mojave decal on the hood.
