The Jeep Compass has a reputation for being a strong, sturdy, and reliable crossover SUV with the sportiness and agility of a Jeep. For its 2022 model year, the Compass is receiving a much-anticipated redesign that will present an all-new version packed with exciting features. From the inside out, nearly every detail of the 2022 Jeep Compass will be upgraded from the previous model year, making it an overall more upscale and elegant design. There’s also going to be some special attention paid to the off-road-worthy Trailhawk trim level, lending it plenty of legitimate all-terrain acumen as well as an aggressively styled exterior for a strong presence on the road. The full 2022 lineup consists of a total of six trim levels, called the Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Limited, Trailhawk, and High Altitude. Each one represents the Compass’s redesign in its own unique way.
Sport
The Jeep Compass Sport sets the tone for the entire collection. It features the new and improved standard safety package, which provides features like active lane management with lane departure warning, full-speed collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. It also starts things off with a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen to access the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and a 3.5-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) cluster display. You’ll also find power-adjustable front seats, heated side mirrors, and 16-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.

Latitude
On the Latitude trim, the 2022 Jeep Compass includes features like the Enter N’ Go keyless entry system, and body-color door handles which add a more cohesive exterior appearance. It also has the LED lighting standard on all models, but in contrast with the Sport, the Latitude has the added benefit of LED fog lights, and LED cornering lights for even better visibility in all conditions, and when going around turns. It also includes a premium wrapped steering wheel for a bit of added comfort, as well as larger 17-inch wheels, overhead ambient interior lighting, and automatic high beams.

Latitude Lux
Next up is the Latitude Lux, which continues to build upon the previous two trims. It’s also a new addition to the lineup, not yet seen before in the previous model years. At this level, not only do you receive keyless entry, but also remote vehicle start. The upholstery is upgraded to include leather trim, and the seats and steering wheel are both heated to keep everyone cozy and warm. The 8.4-inch touchscreen is swapped out for a 10.1-inch screen, whose frameless design appears to float above the dash. Additional features include standard Selec-Terrain Traction Management, power lumbar support, and a larger TFT cluster display.

Limited
The Limited trim kicks up the luxury factor with elegant contrast stitching on its leather seats. Eight-way power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Additional features include rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, a Gloss Black roof, a windshield wiper de-icer, and diamond-cut 18-inch aluminum wheels.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk trim level is the centerpiece of the 2022 Jeep Compass lineup. Right off the bat, it has a distinctive appearance due to its aggressive approach angle of 30 degrees which lends the front end a more tapered look. The Trailhawk features the Active Drive Low system, which aids in the Trailhawk’s all-terrain abilities thanks to its 20:1 crawl ratio. It also features steel skid plates, a 1-inch factory lift, all-season performance tires, and hill-descent control.

High Altitude
The High Altitude trim level is the height of luxury for the 2022 Jeep Compass lineup. It features larger 19-inch wheels, a 10.1-inch TFT Driver Information Display, and leather interior. It also has a panoramic sunroof to let in some extra natural light and provide stunning views, as well as a Uconnect 5 system with integrated navigation as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
