SXT
The entry-level SXT trim level starts off the 2019 Durango lineup with so many features and impressive capabilities you would never think it was the base trim! Standard features for the 2019 model year include a perforated leather-wrapped and sporty steering wheel, a seating configuration for up to five-passengers that can be configured in over fifty ways, a seven-inch touchscreen, a driver-oriented electronic T-shifter, push-button ignition, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a seven-inch driver info display that is fully configurable, Keyless Enter 'n Go, and integrated voice commands. In 2019, each and every SXT trim gets the award-winning and standard Pentastar engine. This 3.6-liter V6 is paired with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission and together they generate 260 lb-ft of torque and 295 hp.
GT
Up next in the lineup is the GT trim. This trim level offers a standard seven-passenger seating configuration and both front- and rear-wheel drivetrain options. The GT's standard features include all the features for the entry-level SXT model as well as a dual exhaust system with bright tips and LED daytime running lights. For the 2019 model year, the GT model is gaining LED fog lamps and a performance geared hood. Dodge offers a ton of features for this trim so you can customize the Durango to meet all your needs. They include a performance hood with two heat extractors and center air inlet, paddle shifters on the leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, a brand new 20" wheel design, and a power liftgate. Plus, the first and second rows are heated! Lift up the hood of this trim and you will find the same powertrain that the SXT utilizes. The GT does offer the best-in-class V6 towing capability, maxing out at 6,200 pounds!
Citadel
The Citadel trim level comes up now and it's loaded with amazing features! They include Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, rain-sensing windshield wipers, navigation, a premium 9-speaker sound system, polished 20" aluminum wheels, a subwoofer, a larger 8.4" touchscreen interface, and HID headlamps with automatic high-beams. For the 2019 model year, the Citadel gains standard second-row captain's chair -- reducing the passenger load to a max of six. They also make it way easier for people to access the third row. This trim is powered by the standard TorqueFlite/Pentastar powertrain option but you have the offer to upgrade to the available 5.7-liter Hemi V8. This engine bumps the Durango's towing capacity to 7,400 pounds!
R/T
The next trim level is the R/T. This model offers standard features like smartphone integration, automatic high-beams, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a performance front fascia, navigation, HID headlamps, automatic high beams, LED fog lamps, a performance suspension, and performance geared steering. This trim is powered by the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission. The R/T trim level adds Fuel Saver Technology with cylinder deactivation to the engine for superior fuel economy.
SRT
Last but definitely not least is the top-of-the-line performance geared SRT trim level. Dubbed as the fastest and most powerful three-row SUV ever. Standard performance geared features include Brembo high-performance four- and six-piston calipers for optimum braking experiences and vented rotors. Further standard performance-related features include stiffer front and rear springs, a rear seat bar, an SRT flat-bottom steering wheel outfitted with paddle shifters, an Active Damping System, and a performance geared AWD system. This trim also gains premium velour bound floor mats, a Laguna Leather interior, SRT logo embossed seats, and ventilated and heated seats. This model gains its very own powertrain comprised of a 392 cubic feet Hemi V8 engine that sends its flying past the competition.
