The 2018 Ram 1500 is a pretty impressive pickup truck! No matter what kind of job you have to tackle whether it be personal or professional this pickup is ready. Outside, this truck is really good looking with a big-rig style and sophisticated details. Plus there are three body styles: regular cab, quad cab and crew cab to choose from depending how many passengers you need to fit in the pickup! Inside you'll find tons of modern technology features and even a unique rotary shifter for the automatic transmission. Each trim level is versatile, capable and efficient and offers great interior and exterior features that make each job easier than before! Tradesman
This entry-level trim is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque and matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine can be outfitted with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Standard features include cruise control, manual windows and mirrors, quad-halogen headlamps, automatic headlights, spray-in bed liner, a tilting steering wheel, locking tailgate, a six-speaker audio system, 40/20/40 split-bench vinyl seats, a rearview camera, Class IV hitch receiver, USB and auxiliary audio inputs. This model offers the most flexibility when it comes to cab and bed size configurations. There are also eight production exterior color options for the Tradesman. 
 
HFE EcoDiesel
This work truck trim level is powered by the 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine (optional on all trims but the Express, Night and Rebel) that produces 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The HFE EcoDiesel is only offered in the Quad Cab body style. Features are similar to the Tradesman model. 
 
Express
The Express model is similar to the Tradesman model when it comes to features but without the bed liner and hitch (they are available as stand-alone options) and adds 20-inch wheels, carpeting, and body-color exterior trim. This trim level is also powered by the Pentastar engine and offers great flexibility when it comes to bed and cab combinations. The Express also offers a monochromatic exterior appearance, 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, and 9 production paint options. 
 
Big Horn
The Big Horn trim level (also known as the Lone Star in Texas) gains more features like the 8.4-inch touchscreen with Ram's Unconnect interface, a 110-volt power outlet, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power adjustable driver's seat, 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, and upgraded cloth seating. This trim level also has the standard Pentastar engine underneath the hood. 
 
Sport
The Sport model brings the street-flair look to the Ram 1500. It comes equipped with 20-inch painted and polished aluminum wheels, a new body-colored RAM grille, bucket seats, adjustable pedals, halogen projector headlamps, and LED interior lighting. Regular cab Sport models with rear-wheel drive are also known as R/T models and they gain a blacked-out grille, R/T badging, 22-inch wheels, and a sport hood. You'll find the 3.6-liter V6 engine underneath the hood of this pickup. 
 
Night
The Night model has a monochromatic black theme with black badging, a black honeycomb grille, and 20-inch black aluminum wheels. There are five exterior paint colors offered for the Night model. Available features for this model include the sport performance hood and the Mopar Performance Cold Air Intake and Cat-Back Exhaust. This model is also powered by the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine from Pentastar. 
 
Harvest
The Harvest trim level is brand new for the 2018 model year! This model offers two unique exterior color options, tow hooks, additional ground clearance, black tubular side steps, and all-terrain tires. Other exclusive features for the Harvest trim include exterior trim, chrome bumpers and a chrome grille. The Pentastar engine powers this trim level as well. 
 
Laramie
This trim level is outfitted like the Big Horn model but with additional features like a 10-speaker audio system, wood trim, ventilated and heated front seats, driver-seat memory settings, and auto-dimming mirrors. The Laramie gets the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine to start off with. 
 
Rebel
The Rebel is where you start to see standard off-roading features like 17-inch aluminum wheels with matte black pockets wrapped in all-terrain tires, 10.3-inches of off-road ground clearance, and the class-exclusive Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension. Additionally, there are features like keyless entry, LED fog lights, tow hooks, Bilstein shock absorbers, and black fender flares. The interior is equipped like the Sport model with a few additional features. This model is powered by the 5.7-liter V8 engine that creates 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque (optional on all trims but the HFE).
 
Laramie Longhorn
This model is only available in the Crew-cab body style and can only be powered by the 5.7-liter V8 engine. Features include Premium Filigree Leather front bucket seats, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with brown inserts, and premium real wood accent interior. As well as a navigation system, front and rear parking sensors, remote start, and keyless entry and ignition. 
 
Limited
The top-of-the-line Limited model comes equipped with Limited Leather high-back bucket seats with a premium center console, a self-leveling air suspension, automatic high beams, automatic windshield wipers, side step bars, and eight monotone paint schemes. This model can only be powered by the 5.7-liter V8 engine. 
 
There are also a few special edition 2018 Ram 1500 models including the Hydro Blue that comes with a luxurious interior, Sport hood decals, all-black 22-inch wheels, and a striking Hydro Blue exterior color. Other special edition models include the Southfork, Limited Tungsten, and the TRX Concept.
