Section 168 (k)
Most Ram trucks are considered qualified property for purposes of section 168(k), which applies for federal income tax purposes. This means that a taxpayer can elect to treat the cost of any qualified property as an expense allowed for a deduction in the taxable year in which the Ram was acquired and placed in service.
