Intro to the 2022 Dodge Charger

The Hellcat is rated at 717 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, while the Hellcat Redeye’s high-output engine variation tops out the list with a staggering 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque! Each and every engine is paired with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. As you can see, the Charger lineup starts out strong, and only gets more and more powerful as you climb up the list of trim levels!

The first two models of the Charger collection are the SXT and GT. These models notably offer all-wheel drive as an available option, instead of the standard rear-wheel drive found on other models. This offers better traction when driving on curved roads. The R/T comes next, which features an active exhaust system followed by the Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye. The Scat Pack, Hellcat, and Hellcat Redeye are all available with the Widebody Package, which increases the car’s width by 3.5 inches, and equips it with 20X11-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli performance tires. The Widebody models are perfect for Charger drivers seeking some extra grip.

For example, the Charger comes with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on all of its trim levels, which can be accessed via the touchscreen infotainment display. The standard touchscreen is 7 inches, with an 8.-inch screen also available. There are also over 80 safety features available across the board, including the new deluxe security alarm which comes standard on the 2022 Charger Scat Pack, Hellcat, and Hellcat Redeye. Other available safety features include adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
