Cabin Design of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer

The cabin of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer will be unlike anything else. Starting in the front row, the Grand Wagoneer Series I features Nappa leather-trimmed seats, while higher trim levels include more plush quilted Palermo leather seats. The front seats are 24-way power-adjustable, massaging, heated, and ventilated. Both driver and front passenger enjoy a roomy 41.3 inches of headroom and nearly 41 inches of legroom. Paying homage to the original Grand Wagoneer steering wheel is a two-spoke steering wheel with the modern twist of audio and cruise controls mounted on it. The start button is wrapped in leather with a bezel with a knurl pattern, mounted in a wooden or metal dash trim. A frameless 12.3-inch digital driver information display sits behind the steering wheel with five panels for a fully customized display. The center stack comprises an articulating 10.25-inch climate control touchscreen for the four-zone HVAC system and seating temperatures. Above that is a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen with Uconnect 5. The Uconnect 5 software operates at speeds up to five times faster than the current Uconnect 4 software. The center console includes Selec-Terrain traction management controls, a rotary dial shifter, and a large storage bin that is available as a cooler on the top-tier Series III.

Second-row passengers get nearly the same amount of the first-class luxury as the front occupants. The second row consists of two captain's chairs, once again standard with Nappa leather trim while Palermo leather is available. For an extra seat, a second-row bench is optional. Both second-row passengers will be pleased by up to 42.7 inches of legroom. Tip n' Slide power release function is standard for the Grand Wagoneer's second-row seat for easy access to the third row. Grand Wagoneers equipped with second-row captain's chairs include a center console with two cupholders, a storage bin, and a fixed 10.25-inch climate control touchscreen. Both second-row passengers also get a 10.1-inch entertainment screen on the front seatback with Amazon Fire TV with hundreds of thousands of apps, movies, and TV shows.

The third row comprises a three-person bench seat with class-leading legroom at 36.6 inches. The 39 inches of headroom also leads the premium SUV class. The third row can be folded flat for added cargo space and also can recline for passenger comfort. The third pane of the panoramic moon roof is set back from the first two panes above the third row, providing bountiful natural lighting. Behind the third row is a best-in-class cargo area volume of 27.4 cubic feet. This can be extended to nearly 71 cubic feet when the third-row seat is folded flat. For a whopping 94.2 cubic feet, you can fold down the second-row seats.
