The extended, long-wheelbase 2023 Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L, the Wagoneer L Carbide, and the Hurricane twin-turbo engine have been revealed. The long-wheelbase models give customers more space, delivering best-in-class passenger volume, second-row legroom, and cargo volume behind the third row. In addition, the more efficient and more powerful powertrain Hurricane twin-turbo engines continue to provide the best-in-class towing capability of 10,000 pounds and a rewarding driving experience that is confidence-inspiring.
Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L Dimensions
The new 2023 Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L are 12 inches longer than the standard-wheelbase models with 226.7 inches. The wheelbase has grown to 130 inches, 7 inches longer than the standard, and up to 44.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 15.8 cubic feet more than the standard wheelbase. The new L models were created and engineered to deliver unmatched comfort for up to eight passengers and ample cargo room for oversized gear.
Wagoneer Carbide
The new Wagoneer Carbide model delivers a sleek, blacked-out design to the Wagoneer lineup. In addition, this model gains gloss black wheels. Black Onyx grille rings with gloss black grille texture. Diamond black lower front and rear fascia, door flares, gloss black roof rack, badges, daylight opening moldings and headlamp, mirror, and sill cladding appliques. When you move t the interior, the Carbide offers drivers a new technical hydrographic dash trim, black headliner, smoke accent stitching, global Black seats, instrument panel, and doors.
Hurricane Twin-Turbo Engine
The new family of Hurricane engines delivers more horsepower and torque with lower emissions-reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine delivers more horsepower, torque, and 15% emissions than many competitors’ naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines. The Hurricane twin-turbo engine produces 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft in the Wagoneer L. of torque. However, the Grand Wagoneer L sports the new high-output Hurricane twin-turbo 510, which delivers 510 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque.
