There are three engine options available for the Jeep Cherokee, and each one delivers in terms of power and capability. The standard engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that produces 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque available at the base trim level. As you move higher up the trim mountain, you get more powerful engines, such as a 3.2-liter V6 that pumps out 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
