Could you talk about the Cherokee’s trim lineup?
Jeep refreshed the Cherokee lineup for the 2021 model year, offering five trim levels. They include the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and the Limited. The lineup comes outfitted with features like Nappa leather seating, supplemental turn signals, power front windows with auto up and down, remote engine start, heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats, and a premium-wrapped heated steering wheel. Additional features found within the Cherokee lineup include rain-sensing wipers, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, Blind-Spot Monitoring, automatic high-beams, and a premium Alpine nine-speaker sound system.
What kind of engine options are offered for the Cherokee?
The Cherokee’s powertrain lineup includes three engine options. The standard engine is a 180 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-4. The other two engine options offered to drivers are a 271 horsepower 3.2-liter V6 and a 270 horsepower 2.0-liter inline-4. Jeep mates all three engine options with a nine-speed automatic for smooth shifting no matter the terrain or speed. In addition to choosing one of three engines, drivers also have three 4WD systems to choose from. These 4x4 systems work with the Cherokee’s five-mode Selec-Terrain traction control system for optimum off-roading and driving during adverse weather conditions. Towing is a breeze with the V6 engine, the Cherokee maxes out at 4,500 pounds.
Can you share more about the Cherokee’s special edition?
Jeep is offering the Cherokee in a special 80th Anniversary edition for the 2021 model year. Celebrating Jeep’s heritage, this edition is based on the new Latitude LUX trim level, adding Berber floor mats, commemorative exterior badging, premium leather seating, Anodized Gun Metal interior accents, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect infotainment system, and a 7-inch full-color thin-film transistor display. Other features included with this special edition are a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 19-inch wheels in Granite Crystal, remote engine start, power front seats with lumbar adjustment, and automatic dual-zone climate control.
