Brand new to the Ram 2500 lineup in 2018 is the Limited Tungsten edition. A Sirius Guardian feature has been added with SOS, remote services, assist, vehicle finder, and send and go included. Additionally, a backup camera and an 8.4-inch radio with 4G LTE have been made standard for all models. 2018 has also added a remote exterior switch to the truck bed for LED bed light activation from within the bed itself.

How many trim levels are available?
The Tradesman is the base trim for the Ram 2500. This trim comes with a locking tailgate, black bumpers and grille, automatic headlights, and power windows and locks. Next is the SLT with carpeted floors, Bluetooth, keyless entry, power heated mirrors, and a power-sliding rear window. The Big Horn trim adds premium cloth upholstery, a 115-volt power outlet, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Laramie trim includes a heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker surround-sound audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED taillights, and front and rear parking sensors. The Laramie Longhorn then adds to this trim with heated rear seats, a spray-in bedliner, cream-colored bumpers, a full center console, and a remote ignition. The last two trims are the Limited and the Power Wagon. The Limited comes with a RamBox cargo management system, an adjustable bed divider, automatic high beams and wipers, and keyless entry and ignition. While the Power Wagon becomes an off-roading machine with features like Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, LED taillights, aggressive all-terrain tires, tow hooks, and extensive mechanical upgrades.
How much horsepower is there?
The base engine out of the three options is the 383 horsepower 5.7-liter V8 with 400 lb-ft of torque. The next engine option is a 410 horsepower 6.4-liter V8 with 429 lb-ft of torque. The third engine is a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel inline-6 with 370 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque on an automatic transmission and 350 horsepower with 429 lb-ft of torque on a manual transmission. This engine is paired with an exhaust braking system as well. All three engines can be paired with either a two-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive.
How many safety features are available in 2018?
Standard safety features for the 2500 include child door locks, an engine immobilizer, a rearview camera, and a Uconnect system that includes voice command so that you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Additional safety features can be added as well such as Bilstein shocks, back up sonar proximity sensors, aggressive all-terrain tires, and hill descent control. Some of these features can also be found standard on some of the higher trim levels too.
