Road Trip to Montgomery

The Harriott II Riverboat: You can re-live history while enjoying a cruise on the Harriott II. The 19th Century riverboat is located in Montgomery's entertainment district. It offers dinner, dancing, and live entertainment, making this a perfect night out for the family. The river boat ride last about an hour and does have food on board to purchase. After the riverboat ride you can check out the different parks and recreation areas or nature trails or if you don't mind getting wet, you can enjoy the splash pad. The Montgomery Zoo: If you go to the Montgomery Zoo, wear comfortable shoes, light weight clothing and bring your sunscreen. There is so much to do and see you will lose track of time and you don't want to drive home with a sunburn. Be sure to take in the parakeet feeding station for hands on fun. You will want to feed the giraffes and pygmy goats. Don't forget to go by and feed the stingrays. Make sure you take photos for last memories. It will take the whole day to see and do everything at the zoo, so pace yourself and stay hydrated!
